FAMILY CREST:
FERGUSON and FERGUSSON
A Scottish family.
The crest is described as "a thistle, leaved and flowered".
The Latin motto is Dulcius ex asperis (Sweeter after difficulties).
The crest was found on a silver milk jug hallmarked London, 1863, by Thomas Smily (this mark and other similar were entered in 1858, 1863, 1868 and 1870).
