silver needle case and crochet hook - Italy
this is a two pieces Art Nouveau silver sewing set made in Italy at the beginning of 20th century.The set consists of:
1) needle case
2) crochet hook with silver handle.
Both have repoussé motifs and 800 hallmark (800/1000 purity degree for Continental silver).
The needle case is 3 in. (cm. 7,5) and the crochet hook is 5 1/2 in. (cm. 15) wide. The set was bought from an Italian dealer at an Antique Fair.
