Georgian silver plain sugar tongs this is a pair of plain sugar tongs made in London in 1812 and the makers are Wm. Eley, Wm. Fearn & Wm. Chawner (their mark WE WF WF was entered in 1808).
These sugar tongs are marked with maker mark, duty mark, lion passant and letter 'R'.
They are 5 3/4 in. long (cm. 15) and were bought from an Italian dealer in an Antique Market
